Attainable Automotive Art projects
Limited production run of (4) hand-crafted Ferrari 330p4 reproduction gear selector mechanisms
Few vehicles capture the pure emotion of racing history quite like the legendary 1967 Ferrari 330 P4.
Meticulously crafted by automotive artisan and fabricator Brandon Hegedus, this handcrafted gear selector transforms automotive geometry into museum-grade mechanical art. Whether displayed in a private office, executive lounge, or curated showroom, this functional sculpture pays homage to the golden era of endurance racing.
• The Mechanical Assembly: Meticulous recreated from numerous period photographs and historically knowledgeable insight, this gear selector features a fabricated and patina'd aluminum housing, stainless steel mechanicals, and Italy’s iconic gated shift plate with reverse lock-out. Stamped into the reverse face of the body is the makers name and the designation, numbering 001 to 004. Every contour mirrors the purposeful, unapologetic aesthetic, yet smooth function of 1960s Scuderia prototype engineering.
• The Shift Lever & Knob: Features a gracefully curved stainless shift lever topped with a hand-turned aluminum teardrop shift knob—capturing the ergonomics and visual balance of the original cockpit control.
• The Vitrine Display: Housed inside a removable walnut and glass display case, the rich grain of the walnut base and frame create a striking contrast against the industrial rawness of the gear selector assembly.
• The Maker's Plaque: Mounted on the walnut base is an engraved identification plate displaying the 330 P4 inspiration, the maker's inscription and the individual limited run designation as 1 of 4.
Available for Sale
With only four serialized examples available, this is an exceptionally rare opportunity for collectors of motorsport memorabilia to acquire such an intimate piece of functional automobilia.
Price: $3500 USD
